I just am requesting prayers here too as I hadn’t been able to make it to church but had been dealing with health issues and had a little scare last week. When I explained this to my mom she informed me that AFib is another health issue. The symptoms had gotten worse over the past two years and just didn’t want to say anything plus some other struggles. I hadn’t seen a doctor yet as I am stubborn and struggling with getting everything back on track. Many prayers

Please pray for my granddaughter, Tisha. She’s a single mother who needs a vehicle & a job in Mulvane so she can walk to work to buy a car & afford an attorney. The father of her 3 kids had a lawyer & she didn’t, so he got custody after the kids were with her for over a year! Now she only sees them every other weekend. She’s devastated & can’t believe this could happen. Please pray for her as she’s really depressed & won’t reach out to anyone. Thank you.

Update on Jack: We seen the Orthopedic doc yesterday and the results of the MRI confirmed that it is spinal stenosis around one of the lower disks. Treatment will start with 6 weeks (2 x a week) of physical therapy, Doc appointment on Dec 28th to determine if it helped, if not, then a steroid shot & then surgery if needed. Thank you all for your prayers.

Please pray for little Archer. Below is Archer’s Story. His Mom and Dad attended our church before they moved out of town. (Jacob and Jestin Strange)

Here is our story. Archer had not been feeling well for about a month. I thought he was sick with seasonal allergies and then a cold. We went to the doctor because I thought he had an ear infection but they diagnosed him with pneumonia so we started antibiotics. We went for a check up that week and stayed on our course of treatment. Over the weekend he was not his normal silly lovable self and was not getting better so I called and we went back to his doctor Monday morning. From there his doctor sent us to the ER because he needed more respiratory support and treatment then we could do at home. We got to Wesley and they took a chest X-ray and saw his left lung was filled and he wasn’t using it to breathe but his oxygen level was stable. They started him on oxygen to help him not work so hard to breathe. We were moved to the PICU where they did a chest tube to get the gunk out of his chest. He slept well that night.

The Tuesday morning they did some medicine to help break up the gunk to get out through his chest tube. He had a moment of stress and moved the wrong way and his chest tube came out. The doctors wanted to do an X-ray to decide our next move. Dr. Quinn our PICU doctor came in to tell us there is something not right with his X Ray and she wanted a better look at it so we went to have a CT done. She came back and told us there was a mass in his chest cavity and they wanted to do a biopsy the next day! I listened to her while holding my baby’s hand but when she left I walked out and completely lost it, our amazing nurse helped me to a quiet room to help process. As we were walking out the door there was our pastor and his amazing wife, a sure sign from god. They were there to help us, pray for my sweet boy and our family!

Wednesday morning the surgeon came to talk to us about the biopsy and that they were going be inserting a central line cause we needed to start treatment quickly due to the size and location of the mass. A little later Dr. Hall came in to ask questions about our family history because they were worried about putting him under anesthesia due to the location of the mass. He said he was going to run a blood test from the fluid they got from his chest tube to see if they could decide the cause before doing a biopsy. He came back about an hour later and told us they had an answer for us! He never had pneumonia. He has cancer….T Cell lymphoma/leukemia.

Our world has been shook. Our baby who turns two, Next Week, has cancer! The doctor said we need to start treatment now because of the location and size of the mass so they started him on a steroid regimen and they will start him on Chemo today. They believe his tumor started maybe a month to two months ago it was a very fast growing tumor. We had no way of knowing because it was growing inside of him.

We do not know how our future will look. We have so many unknowns right now, and questions that we do not know the answer too. It has been a whirlwind of four days. What we do know is Jesus will be with Archer and us every step of the way. We know that we have an amazing support system and so many family and friends that care for our sweet Angel and us! We know that we believe in prayer and we hope you will pray for Archer and this battle we are going to fight together. We do know that our medical team have been amazing and completely there for our little man and us. We do know that we have a very long and hard journey ahead us but we know Archer is strong and will fight like the warrior that he is!

We will try to update you as much as possible but we are focusing on getting our baby boy better! We would love and need all the prayers we can get. If we do not get or haven’t got back to you we are sorry. It has been a crazy few days.
